The Sycamores welcome eight new freshmen into the fold for the 2010 season. Some arrive with multiple accolades while others come with less fanfare. Regardless, they are all still each in their first year of college and will have to adjust to life in Division 1 softball. Based on the fall exhibition season, I would expect all of these players to have an impact on the season. Some will be called upon to start a large number of games, while others might see important duties as a pinch-hitter, pinch-runner, or defensive replacement late in a game.
